Spring Into April

Hello April! Looks like things have been off to a great start this month, and I don't mean this sarcastically, considering it was snowing about two days ago. I just passed my driver's license knowledge test today with one of my closest friends and also received a surprise Easter gift from my cousin, which comprises of a box of Kinder eggs, Cadbury lil Scoops, Cadbury Caramilk eggs and an Easter egg chocolate. 

In a way, this gift is a dark temptation, I guilty pleasure I have yet to indulge in, considering in the past week, I've been committing myself to a fit and healthy lifestyle by working out. I'll explain more about this venture in a later post.

But yes, April is off to a sweet start.

BLUEBERRY MADNESS

Blueberries have always made me shudder for as long as I could remember, yet for the past month, I've grown to really enjoy them when eating with vanilla Greek yogurt. Plenty of us have a fruit we don't like, but you can always serve them with yogurt, or blend it into a smoothie to get the vital dose of vitamins you need.
It's great to eat good food with good taste.

Marche

I spent the past weekend before school starting with a little backpacking trip around Centre Island in Toronto with the family. We visited the amusement park, beach, went on a quadricycle and at the end of the day, we went around downtown Toronto to a restaurant called Marche.

Here is something moderately amusing.

ROOM RENOVATION & FREE T-SHIRT

This past week has been busy, you can see. I recently moved in a new place and this week I decided

to redecorate my room for summer with a construction-woodsy feel, if that makes any sense. I matched my birch-white desk with a similar swivel chair and a wooden whiteboard in my room. To put things simply, I am in love with my desk, especially with the magnetic white backboard feature.

Also, I got a new free peta2 t-shirt that says 'ALL HEARTS BE FREE'. And I really like it.
