So, this week, I studied for exams by cramming all the things I learned from the semester in one night, and I realized MUCH of the pressure and exhaustion could be avoided if I had done other simple gestures earlier in the semester.
Here are a few study tips:
1. Read your textbook for your course for just 5-10 mins per night
2. Make notes right after you read a part of your textbook (this will help you from looking through your textbook later on)
3. Keep definitions, keywords on flash cards! Or you can use this site called Word Dynamo which can help you remember definitions and words in a fun way
4. FLASH CARDS FLASH CARDS FLASH CARDS
5. Listen to music that has no lyrics to distract; no music at all and just silence is actually much preferred
6. If you're an internet addict like me, shut down your computer/laptop, unplug your router, tell your mom to hide your laptop charger if you're really determined to get that good grade
7. Before studying, draw, play an instrument or do a Rubik's cube (or try to) to get your brain up and working, it's like a warm up exercise. Once you finish, you might be more focused with thoughts running more smoothly.
8. Take breaks, you don't want aching joints.
9. AGAIN, FLASH CARDS
10. Avoid bad posture {bent back, overly bent neck}
This is helpful..too bad I have an exam TOMORROW. -_- *le sigh* what is life?
