Tips To Studying #2: Don't Procrastinate

Don't procrastinate.
Easy to say, hard to do, I know.

But, if you set your mind to your task and realize its importance, not procrastinating may be easy after all. (Trust me, I know)

Before I start explaining, I would like to point out that I am the procrastinator of PROCRASTINATORS, meaning I'm the worst procrastinator you'd meet-not joking.
I finish up my tasks the midnight before it is due and yet I get quite satisfying results.

But I've changed. A little.

I met this person whom I look up to and she told me procrastinating is not her 'thing'. My expression when she said that was absolutely priceless. By not procrastinating, you get some breathing time without much worries because you're free of temporary obligations. I stopped procrastinating for a week and it was absolutely great.

So, here are the steps to get your tasks done:

  • list out what needs to be done first
  • sign off your twitter and facebook accounts
  • turn off your phone
  • play a little music
  • don't get distracted
  • sit on a proper chair with a proper desk
  • stay away from people
  • have water and snacks with you
  • be surrounded by things you know would give you inspiration in your work

Hopefully this will help. And I bet you procrastinators are saying I'll try this.............tomorrow.
SHAME ON YOU.
